Benjamin started programming and discovered his interest in computer graphics at an early age. He studied computer science at the University of Saarland (UdS), specializing in the fields of raytracing and Artificial Intelligence. During his studies, Benjamin worked at the German research institute for Artificial Intelligence (DFKI).
In his professional career, Benjamin worked in the computer games industry for 10 years. One year for the DFKI spin-off, Xaitment, producing an AI middleware solution and 9 years for Crytek – a world-leading game engine provider, developing competitive rendering technology and producing no 1. Tier AAA games.
Since 2016 Benjamin has been working independently, developing B2B and B2C stand-alone and mobile applications, as well as following his passion to develop a VR platform that is aimed at equipping key industries with cutting edge remote presence technology.
